Just over a week separates us from the beginning of the second edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, an international event dedicated to high-end boating that will be staged in Viareggio from 10 to 13 May 2018. A big four-day party that will animate the heart of the Tuscan nautical district welcoming visitors, sea lovers and sector operators to this lively and operative factory.
The event, conceived and strongly desired by Nautica Italiana, is organized by Fiera Milano in collaboration with the Technological District for the Nautical and the Ports in Tuscany, with the support of the Tuscany Region and the Municipality of Viareggio, and can count on the participation of more than 170 exhibiting companies and about one hundred boats with an estimated average length of over 30 meters which, if put in line one behind the other, would form a 2.5 km long fleet.
There are many novelties in this second edition, starting from the new exhibition concept consisting of larger and more functional areas equipped with wi-fi technology and the new station of ticket offices that will arise on the promenade of Viareggio in viale Regina Margherita, close to the pier and before access to the port. Still on the promenade will come to life the VYR Preview, an area dedicated to the historical cars with specimens from the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo of Arese.
The actual entrances will instead be two, they will lead directly to the docks and will be positioned to the north on the Lungo Canale Palombari dell'Artiglio. Next to them will be the new Welcome Area, a scenographic space in the shape of an igloo dedicated to the reception of buyers and exhibitors.
The new Exclusive Court, an area dedicated to out-of-industry and luxury products and services, will also be built in the Darsena Italia, and the Gold Floating Lounge, will be set up in the middle of the water. Professional musicians will perform from this stage arias by the Lucca composer Giacomo Puccini and jazz music.
Exhibitors will also be able to provide additional services to their most prestigious customers thanks to the courtesy car service organized by the exceptional partner Maserati and to the existence of a Vip Card which will entitle you to numerous benefits.
As for the program of the event, this will involve the whole of Versilia and will be characterized as the sole thread conducive to the celebration of the combination of Nautical, Art, Design, Fashion and Food. We will start Thursday, March 10th with a party reserved for exhibitors that will take place in the exclusive clubhouse of the Augustus Hotel & Resort in Forte dei Marmi.
Friday 11 May will be the happy hour night organized along the docks and in the neighboring streets of Viareggio. Exhibitors, visitors and residents will be involved in an open-air party animated by the DJ set edited by Radio Monte Carlo.
Finally, Saturday 12 May will be the day dedicated to art and, in collaboration with the City of Pietrasanta, will follow an artistic, cultural and convivial journey in the magnificent setting of Versilia.
Tecnoseal will obviously be present among the exhibiting companies in the area dedicated to accessories and components, but it will not be alone. Once again, in fact, it will join forces with three of the most important companies in the international nautical scene: Guidi srl, maximum authority in the production of antiblock valves, outlets at sea, drains, filters and fittings, Veco spa, state of the art in the field of the air conditioning systems, and Mase Generators, leading company specialized in generating sets.
Following also the path of union between Nautical and Art symbol of this edition of the VYRV, the alliance will be symbolically strengthened by the presence in our joint area of an exhibition of the artist Elizabeth Aro entitled "Rami di Corallo."
