Tecnoseal at the 2018 Metstrade

In an extraordinary way, this week Saved By Tecnoseal will take place on Wednesday and we will advance the day dedicated to boat shows as tomorrow, in Amsterdam, will start the most important European event for marine accessories, systems and materials: the Metstrade 2018!.
Certainly the Metstrade does not need any introduction for anyone who is even a little immersed in the world of leisure boating, but this year the event is even more important because, as we will see, it will be characterized by a massive Made In Italy footprint. So let's go and see what these three days full of events and news will hold for us.

The Mets is definitely a huge event. About 1,600 exhibitors are expected (including 237 completely new) for more than 16,000 visitors. The heart of the event is obviously the huge central pavilion dedicated to accessories and equipment for leisure boating. However, the fair also develops on three other pavilions (plus an half one). Both the Superyacht Pavilion, obviously dedicated to the world of superyachts, and the Construction Material Pavilio , dedicated to nautical materials, have been enlarged to accommodate the growing number of exhibitors. The Marina & Yard Pavilion, dedicated to ports and shipyards, has also been confirmed and the E-nnovationLAB, an area dedicated to the booming market of electric and hybrid power engine, was added.
In addition to this subdivision, exhibitors are also arranged for thematic areas related to nationality in a series of pavilions recognizable by the appropriate flags. Among these, Italy has an incredibly massive presence. The area that will bring the green, white and red tricolor is not only bigger than any other national pavilion, but also of the Marina & Yard Pavilion! In addition to Italian companies there are still 18 other nations represented. They range from Canada and the United States of America to New Zealand and Australia via Korea, Germany, England and many others. You can find the complete map here.

The program of events is as dense as ever and begins one day before. Today, November 12th there will be the first Superyacht Forum, the 25th International HISWA Symposium on Yacht Design and Construction (HISWA is practically the in-water boat show relative of the Mets) and the Meet & Mingle, a social event aimed at making known the various exhibitors present in the place.
Tuesday, November 13, however, remains the most crowded day. At 8 am the usual Breakfast Briefing will officially starts the event and will be opened by Andrea Razeto, President of ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) and vice-president of UCINA Confindustria Italiana, and presented by Hervé Gastinel, CEO of the Beneteau Group. An absolutely unmissable event.

Also on Tuesday, deliveries of the two Mets prize groups will take place. On the one hand the prestigious DAME Design Awards reserved for design of innovative and revolutionary products in the field of marine accessories, on the other hand the Boat Builder Awards reserved for the teams involved in the development, design and construction of boats.
To these events, which are certainly among the most important, there are many others such as: the Grow Boating Committee, a forum dedicated to the growth of leisure boats on a global level, the Environment Committee, a forum for the environment and green campaigns, the IFBSO/ICOMIA Boat Shows Working Group and the ICOMIA Combined Meeting. All these will see an active presence of UCINA Confindustria Nautica. If it were not enough, then each exhibitor added their own personal events to present innovative products or world premieres. You can find the complete list here.

As we have seen, thanks to UCINA Confindustria Nautica and to its international promotion plan of Made In Italy carried out together with ICE Agency, the Italian presence will be very strong. Not just more than 70 Made In Italy companies participants, not only an authoritative voice within the ICOMIA and in the major forums and meetings provided, but also, as seen, the real opening of the fair by the hand of Andrea Razeto, to better represent the importance that our local boating has on an international level.
Lastly, the presence of many Italian products among the nominations of the DAME Design Award should also be noted. The products of Bamar, Palagi Marine Lights srl, Quick SPA, Schenker Italia srl, Termodinamica ltd, Termomeccanica Eolo, U-Sail, Vimar SPA and Vitrifrigo srl will defend the honor of the Made In Italy against rivals from all over the globe.

And Tecnoseral? Obviously we will be present in person, could not be otherwise for what is an event of global importance with regard to nautical accessories. Our experts and technicians are already on site starting today and will remain there until the end of the fair to answer your doubts and show you the latest innovations of Tecnoseal in the field of cathodic protection. You can find us in the heart of the Italian pavilion at the stand 01.675.
